Process flow trigger for Tax Withholding, Current Benefits and Benefit summary

    We are trying to get the newer/and not so new Flows to work.

     

    It looks like we have EMSSTaxEmail enabled but no email is sent to employees.

     

    Can anyone help us out with what we are missing?

      Assuming you have already checked that everything is enabled on the PF side. You will also want to have a record in HS07, event type 2 so the flow knows a "from address", etc. Do you see that the workunit is created? What does the log say?

        I did not know about the HS07 type 2 but now I am wondering if it is competing with a customization we had done in previous versions. We have a customized form ZZ07 that populates the sysrules table with some customized tasks for life events. Of course, 2 is one of the values we used.

          I've been reminded that event type 2 first appears in version 10. So if you are not there yet it may not be a problem, but it will be something to consider during an upgrade. If you are on 9 still, I would check the logs to see if the problem is that the email is not sending or if the flow is not being triggered. It should create a work unit and a log if it is being triggered.

            We are testing on V 10 so I can select it. It does not appear to be triggering the work flow. We do not see any work units.

              OK. Verify the following from the Rich Client:
              1. Start > Applications > Process Server Administrator> Process Definitions>Application Defined Processes>EMSSTaxEmail - verify that there is a version uploaded, and that the process is enabled
              2. Start > Applications > Process Server Administrator> Service Definitions > EMSSTaxChg - verify that the service is enabled, and that the EMSSTaxEmail process is attached to the service
              3. If everything looks uploaded and enabled, try WFWK in portal, and enter EMSSTaxChg in the service and Test in the title and hit the Add button. It should return a work unit, and you should see that in Rich Client. If you don't see the work unit, your installer needs to review the communication between LSF and Landmark
              4. If all of that looks good, verify that you are using a version 10 W4.htm file, and that is is also calling EMSSTaxChg. If there have been customizations to that page, make sure the sendEmail function is being executed.
