I need some assistance with this scenario.

We have an item on contract "A" that is in PO25. We also have multiple facilities.

Contract "A" has many items. However, there are a couple of items that when purchased by one of the facilities (call them "X", that facility gets a lower price than contract price. So another PO25 record was created...contract "B".

So when you look up the item in PO28, it will show both contracts with all facilities participating.

    1) What is the hierarchy that Lawson uses to select which PO agreement to use when both are available? And where can that be changed per facility?

I can't remove facility "X" from contract "A" because their are items on it that facility "X" uses.

    Hope I explained this clearly.

    Thanks

I believe Lawson will always pull the lower contract cost if an item is on multiple contracts and all other things being equal. So in your scenario, if you list the items that facility X gets at a lower cost on contract B and make facility X the only participant on the contract and contract A has no participants, then facility X will be able to access both contracts and the lower cost should apply when facility X orders those items on contract B. In theory.

You would need to test this but:

Contract B - Participants Tab - only Facility X - Header Specific Tab Priority: 1
Contract A - Participants Tab - full company - Header Specific Tab Prioirty: 5

Orders from Facility X should find Contact B. Other facilities should find Contract A.
