Diving in to help our HR VP...is there a way?

Good Evening out there...I hope that everyone and their families are safe.

We are a new company to the Infor / Lawson suite, and probably like many companies, the last few weeks have been trying times. And of course we are making plans, contemplating reductions, making salary adjustments, etc.

My VP of HR is swamped with a million other things, so as the IT guy I told her I'd dive in and help out with what I could.

She is worried that if we do a salary reduction that we will have to go into many screens and adjust peoples pay rates and salaries person by person...multiple screens and clicks, etc.

I told her that I'd go and research and find the best way.

Question:  At this point I'm not looking for the step-by-step process, but is this going to be a manual process, or is there and upload template (or something similar) to bulk change these entries?

    Thanks a bunch all!

We need a little more info.

Are you on cloudsuite or S3? Are you hosted by
Infor, hosted by a 3rd Party, or housed in your own data center?

That will help someone know what tools would be available to you, such as AddIns vs spreadsheet designer?

...also, would be helpful to know if you’re using personnel actions for pay changes (assuming you’re S3)

Thanks! Here's what I know, but I will find out more...

We are multi-tenant HCM...so Cloudsuite at Infor.

And when you talk about Pay Changes and Personnel Actions, are you referring to just the day to day merit increases, etc?

          Thanks,

Those questions were assuming S3, which you don’t have. I’ve got a few things looked up to give you a few starting places. I’ll post those a bit later this evening

I’m not sure I got to send this, I got busy with a downed client.

Spreadsheet designer or IPA is your only real option, since you’re hosted.
Either map out the process with a flow, or mass update everything with spreadsheet designer.

Since I don’t know if you have customizations (via config console), so I can’t speak to the exact process you’ll need to follow, but I can help in more detail if you need.
