We are attempting to install BSI TF10 in our production environment (installing in TEST was a bear to say the least with the little guidance and poorly written documentation BSI provided).

All steps seem to have worked fine, however when we installed the BSI TF10 Master Tax Data file using the tfloader command, we received the following message:

tfloader.c:GetClientDataSet: 1124 - A PROVISIONAL LICENSE HAS BEEN INSTALLED FOR HOST: DCHERP0900F74E414C00.  THE PROVISIONAL LICENSE WILL EXPIRE ON 01/30/2015.

We did not encounter this message when we installed the BSI TF10 Master Tax Data file in TEST.

Any insight on what this message is and what we may need to do to address it if needed?

You have to access BSI's (new) support site [where you downloaded the software] to generate a key for each server (you just enter the host name of your server). You then download the resulting key/license file. and use the BSI web client to install the key (there is also a command line tool for installing it, but I just use the web client; under System Tools).

We had installed two machine keys (one in TEST and one in PROD) already with no issue.  Should we generate a new machine key for PROD and install it again?

There is a command line tool, tf10lic; use that with the -v option to validate your existing/installed license.

Well, we ran the tf10lic command in TEST and PROD and prod comes back as TEMP. We'll generate a new license for PROD and install it and see if that clears it up.

Thanks for all the insight John, much appreciated...
